Kendel Hippolyte’s Fault Lines, Monique Roffey’s Archipelago and Rupert Roopnaraine’s The Sky’s Wild Noise have been announced as the 2013 shortlist for the OCM Bocas Prize for Caribbean Literature.

The OCM Bocas Literary Festival has announced its longlist for the Bocas 2013 prize. The longlist features ten writers from six Caribbean countries across the competition’s three genre’s poetry, fiction and literary non-fiction.

Earl Lovelace strode off with the OMC Bocas Prize 2012 for his latest novel Is Just A Movie.

It’s Friday night in Port of Spain, and as any one will quickly tell you, its time to lime, to gather with your friends have a drink, something to eat and talk. So not surprisingly, Day two of the NGC Bocas Literary Festival 2012, ended with a gathering at nearby Martin’s, a bar and lounge.

An impressive line-up of writers have been announced for the 2nd Annual NGC Bocas Literary Festival, Port of Spain. Writers for this year’s festival include Michael Anthony, George Lamming, Erna Brodber, Mervyn Morris and Kei Miller.
